At this forum we can share knowledge of the pros and cons of regional airport developments to ensure that infrastructure meets the users’ needs by targeting the market for residential, commercial and industrial development.

As an Airport Manager from a remote area, coupled with my executive duties, it is incumbent on all executive staff to ensure to the best of ones ability that their community receives prompt and affordable transport services from capital cities and to ensure the economic sustainability of the community in the future. By attending and participating in Regional Airport Development 2010, it gives our community an opportunity to showcase how smaller remote communities can compete with other larger regional areas and also for participants to understand what is happening in the remote but highly valuable regions of Australia.
