Regional Airport Development 2012 is Australia’s third annual regional development event that connects airport managers, chief executives and commercial managers who are responsible for the economic developments and upgrades and expansions of the future. The Regional Airport Development 2012 conference will discuss increased service levels and development projects, meeting the rise of passenger traffic on regional routes and the impact this will have on the masterplan and existing airport resources.
Take a look at our resource centre with speaker profiles, industry news and more.
We’ve listened to your feedback from our previous events, and we’re evolving our conference format and agenda to deliver on what you’ve asked us for. Expect our agenda to focus on:
Regional Airport Development 2012 will present case studies on some of Australia’s greatest success stories, from small aerodromes with no regulated passenger traffic right through to some of the busiest regional airports.
The key ingredient to successful airport development is relationship building between all relevant stakeholders including government.
A well chosen group and well rounded agenda covering a very broad base of experience and knowledge.
The sustainability of airports is becoming increasingly important and hearing about the successes and tribulations of other airports further enhances your knowledge, networks and your ability to operate successfully in the future.
This forum is wonderfully relevant to a Regional Airports such as Latrobe.
It is important to be a part of this forum because regional airports are a vital piece of business and community infrastructure. They are, in many ways, the lifeblood of communities as they provide a gateway for commerce. There is no “one” answer to sustainability. Success comes from understanding the need for raising revenue and reducing costs from ‘lots of little things.
We are stronger if we share information and experiences and take back to our work places enthusiasm, knowledge and awareness.
